"Come on Buffy. Angel’s waiting downstairs." Dawn said to her sister impatiently. "I’m coming Dawny." Replied Buffy as she but the final touches on her make up. Her and Angel were going on a date a real live date just the two of them. No monsters, no big evil prophecy, just two young people in love going out for dinner and show. Buffy smiled happily.

**Oh where oh where can my baby be the lord took her away from she’s gone to heaven so I’ve got to be good so I can see my baby when I leave this world. **

Buffy walked down the stairs a slight happy bounce in her step. She walked into the living room where Angel stood talking to Xander. He turned to her and if he had breath she would have taken it away at that moment. She smiled softly at him as he walked up and took her arm like the proper gentlemen and walked with her out to his car. Buffy looked up and saw Dawn at the upstairs window smiling at them. Buffy smiled back and waved. She climbed in the car and they were off. While they were driving along a road by the ocean on their way to the restaurant Angel suddenly spotted a car stalled in the road ahead. He swerved quickly to avoid it and slammed into a couple trees.

Buffy’s seat belt broke throwing her bodily into the windshield and where she hit, shards of glass broke off and where impeded in her. She let out a scream of pure agony as the bits of glass ripped into her and she dropped back into her seat on her side then rolled half off onto the floorboard. He banged his head on the steering wheel hard enough to knock him out.

**We were out on a date in my daddy’s car we hadn’t driven very far. There in the road straight ahead a car was stalled the engine was dead. I couldn’t stop so I swerved to the right I’ll never forget the moon that night. The screaming tires the busting glass the painful screams that I heard last. Oh where oh where can my baby be the lord took her away from me. She’s gone to heaven so I’ve got to be good so I can see my baby when I leave this world. **

A while later Angel awoke groggily with blood pouring from the slowly healing cut on his forehead. He felt rain pouring from the clouds. He could hear people all around the car talking and could smell blood. More specifically Buffy’s blood. He looked around through the slightly red haze of blood that ran in his eyes but he saw her half on her seat half off laying there bleeding, a lot. He reached down and gently lifter her up to him. She opened her eyes slowly. She could tell she was dying. After years of being the slayer a car crash, a simple car crash was causing her demise. She had faced monsters and demons stronger than this car and yet all it took was this one wreck to kill her. It was slightly ironic and if she weren’t dying, if this wasn’t killing her she would probably laugh at the irony of it all. Angel stared in shock as he watched her blood run down the seats being washed into the carpets. He watched in horror as her very essence ran from her. "Angel." She gasped. He looked her in the eyes. She looked at him. "Please Angel just hold me I’m so cold." She begged.

**When I woke up the rain was pouring down there were people standing all around something warm running through my eyes but some how I found my baby that night. She lifted her head and looked at me and said hold me darling just a little while. **

He gave an empty smile with tears running softly down his cheeks. He held her close and kissed her as she passed on. He pulled back to tell her he loved her but he, he was too late. His one and only love, his soul mate was gone. He broke down into sobs as the police came and began pulling him and her out of the car.

**I held her close and kissed her our last kiss. I found the love that I knew I had missed well now she’s gone even though I hold her tight I lost my love my life that night. Oh where oh where can my baby be the lord took her away from me. She’s gone to heaven so I’ve got to be good so I can see my baby when I leave this world. **
